Following their sellout Ballroom concert in 2022, FEELIN’ GOOD II is an encore show of two of Melbourne’s best community choirs – Expressive Women and Shaking the Tree – directed by Bronwyn Calcutt and accompanied by their own special band.
Expressive Women are much-loved for performances that celebrate women songwriters. They will kick off the concert with the music of Sinead O’Connor, Christine McVie and the Wailin’ Jennies to name a few.
Act Two features acclaimed festival choir and band Shaking the Tree with songs of power and poetry by Neil Murray, Laura Nyro, Midnight Oil, Melanie, Pink Floyd and the very ironic Lou Reed.
Act Three will showcase soloist Bronwyn Calcutt, folk-rock band Jaunty McDoom, finally bringing the choirs together in a rousing forty-voice finale from David Bowie. This will be an immersive and uplifting spring concert with audience invited to party along – not to be missed!
