Shaking The Tree choir is pleased to present in concert another great batch of songs that have come out of this year: our travels to the Tasmanian Tarkine wilderness and our affiliation with the Bob Brown Foundation, our passion for social activism in the current political environment, and our personal and collective stories of love, loss and renewal.
These are expressed through wonderful songs such as Joe Jackson’s ‘Real Men’, Milck’s ‘Quiet’, Joni Mitchell’s ‘Fiddle and the Drum’ and a rewritten version of Radiohead’s ‘Creep’, aimed at a certain world leader tweeting himself into our lives.
We hope you will come and join us for a Sunday afternoon of inspiring song, delicious food, and good company.
