Shaking The Tree is delighted to again be participating in the very special open day of the iconic Nicholas Building – home to many of Melbourne’s creative industries. We’ll be singing in various locations between 6pm and 7pm.

For one night only The Nicholas Building will open it’s doors to the winter night, and invite all to explore it’s winding corridors.

This is the next installment of a series of events that invite the public to engage with this incredible vertical creative precinct in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. Whether you’d like to purchase an artwork or a piece of piece jewellery directly from their maker, see where buildings are designed, where music is made, discover where ideas are conceived and meet the creative people behind them, come and explore the corridors with a drink in hand – a Night at the Nicholas is unmissable.

From the beautifully preserved art deco arcade to the 9th floor, there will be a chance to encounter a wealth of creative work from some of Melbourne’s best jewellers, milliners, artists, fashion designers, architects, graphic designers, galleries, thinkers, and unique boutiques and shops that all form part of our building’s magic.
